Objectives

Students will identify and examine various types of thematic maps that geographers use to show what is happening around the world

Students will be able to identify six thematic maps and what makes up a human geography map and a physical map.
Classroom Activity Warm-up- Submit Ch. 2 landforms in GC-  then, 

  • In your Latin America and Canada textbook, use the map on page 24 to find the highest mountains in the Western Hemisphere. One in North America and one in South America  What are they?  Be prepared to share out! 🙂
