Students will identify and examine various types of thematic maps that geographers use to show what is happening around the world

Students will be able to identify six thematic maps and what makes up a human geography map and a physical map.

Warm-up-  Go to GC and work on Ch. 2 Landform vocabulary using your Geography Alive textbook and glossary.  Make sure to find a real-world example and include a picture of that example.  It needs to be in the Western Hemisphere, so physical feature maps of North America and South America
