 Learning  Targets

Students will be able to… understand the elements of a map and how we use them in geography

Success criteria:

• (Today I will…) identifying absolute location and relative location
• (So that, I can...) understand how to navigate through my surroundings
• (I will know I understand it when…) when I can apply map elements in my classroom and identify a precise location.

                                                                                                                                                                              Class work:

1. If you have not finished Farm Map or 1.4 Global Grid- DO THIS FIRST
2. If you did not finish work from Friday in Schoology,  click on the YELLOW folder “Friday, Sept. 24th” and  complete the assignments before moving on to Monday’s assignments.  
3. Go to the Monday folder and complete the assignments listed.
4. If you finish all the assignments in Schoology, ask the guest teacher for the Latitude Longitude worksheet.
5. If you have finished all the assignments, you may do work from another class, quietly read, or write.
